[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not much I could do about the polluted grey skies, but I liked the repetition of the fluttering red flags in this famous (or infamous?) square.

"The square is 880 meters (2887 feet) south to north and 500 meters (1640 feet) east to west, a total area of 440,000 square meters (108.7 acres), which makes it the largest open-urban square in the world."

This is a well known Square Chris. Looks very quiet today!!
Forget the grey sky, it actually suits the whole scene I think, especially with the 5 red flags flying in the wind.
I don't think I've seen a straight on look at the square before, photos usually show groups of people.
Well done
Janice

Hello Chris,
Now that is an impressive monument!
The Chinese flags stand out well even on the grayish background, and they add dynamics to the composition...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi, Chris!

Hi Chris,

I was lucky to have opportunity visiting this place, eventhough I got the same weather as you are . .
Interesting presentation of those flags and I believe at the far end is Mao's place?
Well composed

Chris, This is a good, new POV of this famous square, the biggest in the world i think? The bold red flags and low crop make it well worth seeing. TFS. Murray.

Hi Chris,
The contents of the photograph make us forget the color of the sky. Beautiful repetition and beautiful capture of this square not which seems to be very calm but surely that it is not like that at the peak hour. Well composed and point of view.
Regards
Diane
