[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Modern apartments and hotel look out over this parkland and large lake which a few months ago was an ice skating rink. The warm spring weather is bringing people out to enjoy the blossoms and spring flowers around the lake.

First day of testing the Sigma 18-200mm lens. So far happy with the amount of zoom and especially the shorter length than the 300mm to carry. Would have like the Canon 200 lens but a very heavy and quite a lot longer barrel, so more difficult to carry around, but realise the end result would no doubt be better so a difficult decision.

Not quite Sydney Harbour, but an attractive waterfront locale nonetheless. I like the blue monochrome colour. Good sharpness & tfs!

The contrast and saturation of colours is excellent in this image.

Perfect shot with your new lens.!
The apartment buildings are good in vertical and colours are splendid.
The sall yellow boad add good for the composition.
One of the reasons, I bought my Olympus E510, was the weight, size and small lenght of the lenses.

The color contrast created by orange paddler is a delight ... it breaks the predominantly blue cast of the image. It also gave the scene some scale of dimension. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs
