Nice portrait shot with great smile and expression. I think this portrait will be better if move slightly off center and not to block the wooden post. Good exposure without shadow on the face.

For your future posting, it is useful to visit at least 20 galleries of other photographers and give your critiques.

I'm sure this photo brings back many good memories. Looking at it myself, I'm sorry you didn't move away from the post a little bit. That way, we would see more of the post and your arm would cover up the boats in the lake--they are not really important. I know that even with these comments, the photo will still be very special to you.
