[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this picture during a recent visit to China. I spent some time on Shamian Island where there happens to be a bridal shop that produces their own magazine. The Island is surrounded by the Pearl River and has big beautiful trees with old European buildings. Perfect for this type of photo shoot. I had a blast following these guys around taking pictures.

This was taken in color and converted to B&W. I used my new favorite lens a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8. The shot was taken in the shade under some massive trees. Due to the lack of light I bumped the ISO to 640. The SS was set at 1/160 and the aperture was set to f4.5 for the pic. In PP I converted to B&W and rotated the frame. I adjusted the levels to try to show more detail in the darker areas behind the model. I then reduced noise and slightly sharpened. I hope you like this shot and as always thanks for viewing. Have a great day.

Regards,
Kevin

ciao Kevin
an interesting and charming capture..
really nice the tilted pov.. and the pose so dreaming!
good b&w.. a touch of class in these cases!
well done, my compliments
ciao Marco

Hi Kevin - i like the tilt and the choice of b/w...wasn't sure about the closed eyes at first, but they are growing on me as well. An unusual shot that works for me.

Lots of feelings in this shot, each time I look I get another one. B&W works, as does the angle.
Thanks,
Wilt

hi kevin, its a nice shot however i do wish hers eyes were open as she seems so beautiful, still a nice moment captured and the b/w is great,
take care,
tfs,
scott

Although it could be a little sharper on her face - a result perhaps of the wide aperture - I really love the pose, the compositional flow, the tilt of this shot. The grain from your ISO is perfect here.

hello Kevin
how are you friend?

do you have any shot with an eye contact?

Hi Kevin
Do I assume she was a real bride or was she posing for the magazine? Anyway you have a fine capture here. Having her close her eyes and dream really sets the mood. Very well done.
Phil
