I don't like the feet cut off, the intruding object on the left side and it's not as sharp as it could be. Looks like a hurried sneak-shot.
DOF is good but this needs to be cropped tighter - to remove the object on the left hand side (or clone it out) - and to improve the composition, those cut-off ankles don't look good. Maybe crop from above the knees.
Granted it looks like a trophy snap but at least you didn't just shoot her from behind! ;)

Hi,
As two members mentioned about crop so I try to make a very simple WS for you. May be a bit loose of your intense to show DOF but hope you'll still like it.
Kind thoughts, Imelda
si devo concordare che sembra una foto fatta in fretta e se la figura fosse stata intera sarebbe stata migliore
non č poi cosė ben focalizzata

Hi TH,
I do find something interesting about this shot, there is something about the pose, I agree, and what she project in this shot. I just don't get people that carry a bottle of water and extra luggage, like the would be ready to cross the desert....but that's an other story...))))
Yet I've got to agree with most of the critiques, that the crop is a bit odd. A crop above the knee, or even just under would have be a little better, in classique photography term, it would be called a 3/4, as is it's more of a 7/8.))). As for now, we do see too much but yet not enough would have been nice to include the feet(same if you crop the fingers of the hands.) Sharpening of the photo and skin color could be improved, but general focusing ain't bad at all. As for the other technical points, please check the workshop.
Keep on shooting.
