Why red for Chinese? I've read some theory that mostly china area is in cold weather,red is represented warm and sunlight include fire from the five elements in chinese's believe so red is in chinese's spiritual and culture from time to time.Even now red culture still influence to chinese soceity.
This is the place in area of golden palace;Jin dian in kunming.overall area are red even candles are red too.that's comfirmation power of red in china i guess. |

Very interesting composition with the carved wall on the left and the candles, the red wall on the right with the Chinese characters on the wall. Just too bad the two signs are over-exposed. Still a great shot.

Powerfull red and cool brown looks really nice together.. Candles also look nice but if you would have taken the stairs that goes through the door could be more impressive capture
