Hi Folks,

It’s 4th of July, America’s Independence Day.

I am posting here a photo taken at Window of The World in Shenzen, China. It shows miniatures of US Capitol Building, the Washington Monument and faces of four US past presidents - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

From behind the hill I overheard this presidential address:

”My fellow citizens of TL
On this historic Independence Day I am here to deliver a very important message.

Believing that each and every mankind deserves a freedom, independence and sovereignty as much as we do, I hereby announce a complete, immediate and unconditional withdrawal of our troops from countries whose domestic affairs we have interfered with.

Our courageous servicemen and servicewomen will never again shoot at our self-defined enemies. They will never again armed with lethal weapons, semi or fully automatic.

Upon return, they will assume a new task. They will still shoot but the new targets will be beautiful subjects. To carry out this new task they will equipped themselves with fully digital cameras.

This change of policy is consistent with our stand of promoting love and brotherhood irrespective of creed and colour.

With this, let’s all rise to sing our anthem God Bless TL…

Thanks for viewing and have a great weekend.

Hi Agoes,
What a coincidence. I was just taking photographs of the US Capitol Building and the Washington Monument yesterday. I was more aggravated for finding it hard to find parking spots during this excursion. I have not seen or heard this miniature park before and I must say they have reproduced it faithfully. Your posting is sharp, well metered, and composed well. A funny Note you included. Best regards, Danilo

Salam Bro,
Peluang begini kalau di sia2kan akan menyesal seumor hidup..falsafah ku tu bro..

terima kasih komen foto "F/T 3 in 1".

Hi Agoes,

It seems strange seeing some really American symbols in China. You have done very well with your setting for this photo. Very sharp and well exposed colours. Great POV for this scene.

TFS.

Alvin

Hi Agoes,

Interesting picture with great colors. The picture is good but the reality is a little bit scaring me.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
Olivier

Assalamualaikum Agoes.

You have brought back excellent images from your overseas trips and I am really impressed with your Sydney's post, here and from our neighboring country. Amir (maybe you remembered my son for his brief appearance here) was in Sydney for a whole month early this year and he said the weather was not so good and now his camera is in my dry box after gaining entry to UiTM. I can see tremendous improvements with your shots. The same goes to Bill, Alfred and Ramdan. I think Ramdan can opt for a full time job as a photographer. We have a bunch of excellent photographers living in the East. Not to mention mentors like Rabani and a few more.

This is just brilliant with full featured Uncle Sam's backyard. Flawless shot with spotless blue sky in the background. 4th of July happened to be my eldest son's birthday. A big BANG of crackers for this post!

Thanks for sharing and best regards. Have a prosperous weekend ahead!

HI Agoes
Very good capture of this garden with mini monuments.
Not sure that what is heard behind the hill would be well received by Mr Bush but it sure would be good to hear that.
Great shot and note
Dot
