Temple Street Night Market
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was taken while test-shooting the new Tokina UWA I got from Mongkok. It was my first try at street photography and shooting night scenes hand-held. I bumped up the ISO a bit to 400 and maxed-out the aperture to 2.8 to get a fast shutter speed. The original file is a bit noisy than what I'm used to but tried to minimize it using Lightroom. Other PP includes just sharpening, tonal adjustments, cropping, borders and watermark.
As usual, feedback is most appreciated. Thanks for viewing! |

For a 'night shot' this is both remarkably bright, and using a remarkably quick shutter given the ISO. Sharpness is very good, the composition is textbook. Beautiful balance between the artificially lit lower portion of the frame, and the glowing sky in the upper.
This works!
