even if it is out of Focus I find this picture beautiful and unfortunately, so realistic! the colours and the child face are charateristic and this shot seems a photo of a LIFE's photoreporter !
congratulation.

This is a fantastic shot!

Camera shake aside - a result of the 1/80s shutter I guess - this is all about the amazing look in those eyes, complete seriousness and an awareness, as you say, beyond her years; the dirty clothes, the dirty face, and the incongruity of the bubble she is blowing.

This really is heartbreaking!! I am so thankful to read that she is able to attend school though, that is a blessing. An excellent portrait that speaks a 1000 words. TFS
