[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo shows a donkey parking at the great Kashgar sunday market to which thousands of merchants and people come from all directions. Hundreds of donkeys and carts were "parked" on this parking lot by the river while their owners trade their goods on this colourful and bustling market.

Kashgar is an oasis town in the very West of China at the junction of the Northern and the Southern Silk Road and has a very long history in trade. Kashgar is home to the muslim Uyghur community and doesn't feel like China at all. A very friendly and fascinating place.
