[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is taken at Longhua temple on a busy Saturday the last day of the chinese new year celebration, the lantern festival. Much like Christmas in N.A. lots of people end up at church on the day of the lantern festival. This is a buddhist devotee reciting prayers with the monks. I love the light coming into the dark temple and striking the "holy" pose of hands together.

Good to know that you are working Shanghai. Welcome! I like your photos of China, a POV from diferent culture. This picture is excellent with superb lighting and warm color. Particularly, you focus on hands only, from which we can imagin how sincere the prayer is. Great shot.

Excellent use of the DOF, the tip of the fingers are a liitle overexposed, but conceptually work for me. Well done!!
