This is better indeed Merwede. She is pretty and deserves it to be portrayed that way! Maybe sometimes you can do a close up on her eyes? They seem beautiful!

This is an excellent attempt to portrait in almost natural light (i think?). Colors are nice, i like the red tones used here. About the skin, you may use NeatImage taking some care, none of the default settings giving nice result for skin, so you have to play with the different triggers. - You have done well here, manually, with the brush tool. Only missing thing is more light on her.

i like the colors here with the very good composition..the only thing Iwuold change is the skin tone , make it some softer and add some indirect lighting..make her some more glamoures..tried to do this in a ws...regards Leon

A softer photograph will and I tried a workshop ?
Did you use a field in flash ? It may have helped .
otherwise a very nice expression in the eyes and a great background .
