[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the popular intersections in Central in Hong Kong taken from the edge on one of the center dividers. Most visitors/tourists/residents inevitably pass through Central for sightseeing, shopping or errands. I was actually on my way to buy camera accessories at the nearby Stanley street which has reputable photo equipment stores. Night has just fallen and while waiting to cross the road, I set the cam at a slower shutter speed to catch motion blur of the buses and trams zooming by as well as various lights illuminating from the surrounding establishments and billboards.

PP : slight lift in saturation and contrast. Cropped the sides a bit, added frame and resized for TL.

i love it!
one thing i noticed is the buildings are leaning to the right.. as much as possible try to compose them in a 90 degree angle.

happy holidays,
Ter

great shot....like the group of people waiting for the lights to change...colours are great

Great shot, Peter, good timing, as usual. There is that "sense of movement," as you would say...hehehe. Easy lang with the tilt.

It looks like you're getting used to hongkong by the minute, your recent posts have that "homey" feel. I won't be surprised if you'll send in more great pics from there, knowing that you're blending in well with the residents.

What's with you and hongkong traffic lights? Hahaha.

Unusual angle of view! The blurry effect of the transportation is very interesting. This is really the hustle and bustle city life of Hong Kong.
