Wat een prachtige plaat Hans. Mooie kleuren lekker dieptewerking. Voor mij had de natuurlijke omlijsting door de takken voldoende geweest, maar over smaak valt niet te twisten ;-)

Hi Hans,
Impossible to pass by this photo and not notice it. It is amazingly beautiful; the yellow flowers are fascinating such as the whole view itself. Then finally, those branches at the front are a very decorative finishing touch.
I too am "addicted" to this (I wake up thinking about the next photo! :O) but I consider it a good vice.
I wish you and your loved ones a VERY Happy New Year plenty of good health.

All the best for 2007 Hans. There is nothing more attarctive than seeing the canola crops in flower. Rather different seeing them with some grren around them not like in Australia with hundreds of acres of yellow amongst the dried out fields. Well composed my friend, Lovely colour and superb detail. Thanks for this post Hans, kind and beautiful. A very optimistic shot- well suited to the turn of the year. And I agree with your note, from the day I joined TL it's been in the back of my head, always ticking away with a new untapped 'creativity' :P

Well done is all I can say. I like the countryside, I like flowers and I love colours- so, definately a good shot in my books. I never knew China was this lovely- now I've learnt something new already. TFS again.

Hi Hans,

For years we have been surrounded with rapeseed here (it plays havoc with the hayfever!) until this 2007 when many of our local farmers seem to have swithed to growing sweetcorn.

I like the way you have captured the colour and highlighted it in your presentation to make it into a wish for the new year. I also enjoy the way you have framed the shot with the foreground tree branches - I like to take this sort of shot, but people often complain!
