The Violinist

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Had to pop up to Hong kong for a few days - sadly didn't have much free time but managed to sneak into the IFC Mall that was just across from my hotel.
There was a small group of musicians playing to the lunchtime shoppers so I sneaked off a few shots. I quite like the composition of this one as it includes the musician, his music and the microphone.
Shot in RAW, converted, cropped, resized sharpened and ran through NeatImage - because I screwed up the ISO settings...AARRRGGGH! :-) |

Hi Richard,
You did great capturing his expresssion which deeply his heart involved in playing this instrument.
Well done my friend for presnting in BW.
I am going to Beijing next week . . Any recommendation for taking pictures?

Very nice BW shot here Richard! Very sharp for indoors and of course, he was in motion at the time of the shot! You did well capturing a natural moment here! B-)

Richard,
I saw your photos ...
So, if you where average
I would say " beautiful ". Point.
But, If you could to soften that " flash "
on the upper part of the violin
it would be mutch better !
I'll return the favor : I'm a " ambetanterik "
Normally it's me who has to look-up the meaning of English words :-)

Great shot! Very good details and contrast.
I think maybe another point of view so that we don't see the pianist hiding behind the violin player.
Next time you are in Hong Kong you are welcome to drop me a line. Maybe we could do an ad-hoc TL meet or something.
Cheers,
Jens
