And more little piggies went to market....

We went to the Naxi market in Lijiang to see how the real life is for these people.
What a wonderful place to dwell for a few hours just to see how people do their shopping, how they live.
Coz a lot of things we westerners usually do indoors, the Chinese people do in the streets.
It creates a special bond between them, they socialise wile doing the dishes or preparing food in the streets.
For us something to think about...........

Cropped this part of a larger image, showing more meat and people. I felt however that this was the essential part of the image.

Cropped, slightly sharpened, added some saturation and added the frame and text.

Then we need to cover our streets, because when it rains like this I don't see me preparing food outside. However I'm all for it - will not happen.
I keep looking at that pig - what do I see - what do I miss - are the pigsears already cooking for the soup?

It's amazing how spoiled Americans are! We NEVER buy our meat outside like this! It's all neatly packaged for us! This is a colorful, yet shocking pic for us westerners! Nice shot Anneke!

Heerlijk die platen uit andere landen. Daar is dat heel gewoon in zo'n etalage, maar in nederland zou het bekijks zijn.
Je hebt het er mooi opgezet met realistische kleuren en goede scherpte.

Market are the best place to see the daily life. My parents came to visit me and what did we do... we went to different markets. Fun.
Your picture realy tells what a Chinese meat market (or food market) looks like. This is what I have seen the last two years.
The colors are nice and you have a great POV.
Today I saw a tricicle riding next to the express way with meat hanging from it and going from the left to the right. Funny view...
