Hi Folks
Just came back from school (a 2 minute walk...) and saw that they were giving this tree a winter jacket. Last week they planted this tree, it is amazing how they replant trees here. And so this week they have to protect is from the cold and wind, but it is never freezing here. Well yeah it is worth a picture, just looking at the construction only and that because they planted the tree just before the winter.
By the way, look at that sky!!! The first time in months that we have a sky like this for a whole day. Felt great teaching in the sun.
Cheers

The scale of this shot is deceiving - it's only on seeing the man on the scaffolding that it becomes apparent! Good choice of subject, well delivered - good light, good detail.

HA!!!! and you think this is special???
I have seen the Chinese giving transfusion to a tree... YEP... a real drip! Intravenous (do trees have vains?) transfusion... I even have it in a picture! Mind you.. the tree was dead as can be as far as I could see.
Anyway, this is very good way to protect the tree from fierce and cold winds, so all in all this is not such a bad thing. They should not forget to water it though.
Very good capture David. Clear, sharp and colorful, specially that sky! ;-)
Cheers,
Anneke
