Final days of Fengdu, China... brick by brick the city comes apart and is carted to higher ground before the rising waters of the Yangtze arrive.
I do not recall the 'state' for Fengdu, so feel free to help me. |

Hi Conrad, great image and intersting POV. I like the grain and the style of focus. I am wondering if the contrast can be upped a touch to improve the texture of the rubble infron of those bulidings. I would imaging that this would have to be done prior to appling the grain, if this was done digitally. You would also have to take care not to completely blow-out the bright white shapes to the left of the image. To do this your could select the shaped with a wand and carefully overlay with a darker shade of grey and adjust according to the amount of contrast to throw in. Great shot all the same, no doubt you have more of the same subject - must have been a really interesting place to visit. I hope this helps. Take care, Lance

Good shot and well seen. I like the tilted compostion and tone of the photo. It reminds me a great deal of something from China Obscura
