[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Amid the deconstruction of Fengdu, a lone trees is slowly buried alive by the debris from the building materials of the city in which it once called home. On top of the structure on the left, two figures survey the area. These buildings were being taken apart by sledge hammers in the hands of men and women on top of each building. An eerie sight with even more eerie sounds in the stillness of that morning.

Color image - desaturated - sepia toned.

Very small format but a cool image. Lots of rubbel to look at. I really feel the errieness from this photo. The fog works well and the symbolic lone tree is nice too. A very interesting subject. Nice job. JP
