[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well I could tell about the place I took this picture but I'll do that tomorrow.
Just something about what happened today...
The school day started fine, we have spirit week this week and today was pink day. All the boys and girls were wearing something pink. I was looking very colorful and warm untill the electricity went out!!
No electricity means... no light, no heating, no computers, no... nothing!!!
Knowing that this today is the coldest day possible in Chengdu, around three degrees, we realy felt cold.
Currently instead of being at home were we don't have electicity either... we are enjoying the heat of a western restaurant where they have wireless internet.
So this warm flower just tells what happened today, a colorful and warm pink start and a freezing end!!!

PS: 3 degrees is not cold but you have to count the humidity...

Prachtige bloem David. Mooi uitgewerkt zo met die zwart/witte omgeving.
Het zwart/witte deel is wel iets aan de donkere kant, maar ja... als je dat lichter maakt, valt het roze weer minder op... :-)

Hi David,
Boy, and we grizzle when the power goes off when it's 20C, I don't know how I would handle your problem today.
The water lilies are in bloom here in NZ right now thru to April.
So expect to see a few more, hopefully you will have warmer day tomorrow.

PS: 3 degrees, that is really cold...

Sorry to hear about the "tingdianle". Ouch. It's cold here, too--not freezing, but awfully close, though. We're able to keep one room warm.
Lovely lily. Is that another petal piece hanging down on the right side? I can't make out what it is, but it could be made to fade into the black background.
