[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the local market in a village nearby Jin Hong I saw this box full of ducklings...
When I took the picture my foot was on it but I knew I wanted to do this in photoshop the moment I saw them.
Enjoy you Sunday.
David

Hallo David.
Jammer dat ie niet zo scherp is, maar wel een lovely but zielig plaatje, toch ?
Hoewel, een goed geroosterde eend smaakt heerlijk. Moeten ze wel wat groter zijn.

Hi David,
Well taken image, sharp, colourful and well exposed.
but I can't come to grips with the way they treat animals, too callous for my taste.
Silly of me I suppose, because I enjoy Peking Duck as mush as anyone.
My very first sight in our hotel in Beijing, was a glass tank full of live snakes. They all had safety pins through their mouths. I didn't try snake that night:)
Cheers,
Pete.

Hi David

I can't help feeling sorry for these ducklings but it is a great shot. Well composed and nicely presented. It also captures the daily life of the place

Hello David,
I don't see this as cute, it is more a reportage shot. telling us something of the culture and customs of China. Excellent POV and cropping.
regards
Bev
ps A nephew of mine taught in China not long ago and came back with lots of stories. The funniest were those about the chinese reactions to his size. He is a big lad of 6ft 5. One time he was trying on a pair of shoes for his big feet and attracted an audience who were highly amused. He didn't fair well food wise on a diet of skinny chickens!
