a bad bargaining position
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
When you're slogging down the street with a child draped over your shoulder, you're not in a very good bargaining position when a "sanlunche" (lit., "three-wheeled vehicle") comes by. This grandma haggled a bit just for show, but she quickly gave up and climbed in.
(P.S.--I don't want to suggest that the trike driver is ripping her off, but she was so obviously exhausted that there was no, "That's too high, I'm just going to walk" option.)

Some are honest, but few. Many are crooks when foreigners are around. I began to hate them. When I was in Tibet most were ok! In India and even Kathmandu, Nepal, they have become predatory!
like that it tells me the little story of the pictures we take. :-)
From my visit to china I have always enjoyed taking the "bike-taxis".
I have feel that you have no luck with the weather, which not offers a beautiful light here. However, the frame is good, the contrast correct, it's a good picture.
Nice picture, thx for sharing.
