Well, yeah, the earth shook this afternoon--the first time in 30 years or so, apparently, and this was a much bigger quake than that one. At that time, people slept outside for two weeks, afraid of sleeping inside because of possible aftershocks. So tonight, every basketball court, lawn, and even ping pong table is covered with bamboo sleeping mats. The news is horrible from other cities, but things are not so bad here.
