The earthquake shook the tiles on this roof all over the place, so they had to be replaced. This crew of men and women are working on the very steep roof of a four-storey apartment building. They're tossing stacks of roofing tile to each other while balancing on planks. They have no safety harnesses, and most of them are wearing army surplus sneakers. They were able to use a freight elevator to get the tiles up to roof level, at least.

A nice present-day daily life snapshot. It's nice to see so many people rebuilding what some have lost. heart-warming and heart-breaking at the same time. tfs
