Down and Out

| This was taken while I was waiting outside a shop where my wife went to shop. The long shutter lag on this camera is really aggravating! It took a few shots bafore I can get this photo without pedestrians getting in front of the subject. PS CS to blur the BG a bit (the camera has a tendency to focus on backgrounds) |

Hello Frank, still welcome to TL :)
Good documentary shot. The blurred part clearly shows where the main object is. For me the best part is that "fancy" woman running away from him. Also the almost monotone lower part add to the meaning of this pic. Very well done. Yours, Jan
Sad and real picture ! Good eye ! Bravo

O my God!
What a street scene!
Frank, this picture is so sad and cruel, just like life is.
Amazing.
I have seen lots of this I Thailand too. I can't imaging bowing down for hours at a time. Anyway, I really like the street scene you caught in the background with the bus and people running across the street. Good use of DOF too. Nice photo! JP
The cruel reality at it is... So rich walk the same streets with so poor... And that's it... Richs ignore the poors...
I like how you play with blur.
powerful image, good capture
