Zhongshan Park pavilion

| Zhongshan Park, in the western part of central Ningbo, is maintained in traditional Chinese style with ancient buildings, pavilions, moats, rock features, and lots of trees. On a typical Sunday it is filled with older Chinese people in more traditional garb that that normally seen in the upscale shopping areas nearby. Traditional music, dance, and strategy games can be observed in many parts of the park, making it a welcome refuge from the crowded and energetic Gulou market located just to the south. |

Hey Don!
I think it's interesting that you've decided upon this subject. Amidst the hussle and the bussle of contemporary China, these vibrant places of culture still exist to provide that contrasting relaxing place of rest, meditation, worship or meeting.
The decision to, chose the particular spot, I think works in this case, although generally the overhanging darker shaded leaves would have been unnecessary, do help to set a contrast of lighting and shade between the different leaves and the central focal point, the gazeebo-esque structure.
Cheers!
