One of the most popular tourist sights in Beijing (North Capital), which has many.

"The Yonghe Temple, also known as the "Palace of Peace and Harmony Lama Temple", the "Yonghe Lamasery", or - popularly - the "Lama Temple" is a temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism located in the northeastern part of Beijing, China. It is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world. The building and the artworks of the temple combine Han Chinese and Tibetan styles. The Yonghe Temple is located in Beijing's Dongcheng District, near the northeastern corner of the Second Ring Road. Lines 2 and 5 of the Beijing Subway both stop at Yonghegong, as do a number of city buses."

Hi Chirs,
I would love to visit this one day. A bright and sunny day you've captured the details and structure beautifully. Nice POV and good coloring. TFS Julie

Ohh! this is the shot of the day, my friend, Chris!

I like it very much, and I must say one of your best...though you have 'many' best shots in your gallery :)

The Chinese architecture looks superb here, and I am one of the great admirers of the buildings with great and historical architecture. You managed to caught this building very well and the sharpness and pOV perfections, make this shot even more eye-catching. Great colors too!

Well done!

best regards,
Paras

Hi Chris,

Your POV takes good advantage of the curves in the colorful roofs. The photographer in the foreground adds a nice, albeit typical, human element to the composition. TFS

Hello Chris,

I love to see such beautiful buildings, obviously reflecting the culture of the population.
Your portrait format has allowed you to capture the details of the building and still give a close understanding of its context.
Sharp focus on the building and its details.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Chris,
yes - it's me again - from time to time I need a break from TN and TL.
This temple is so colourful and I love the architecture. It's such a long time when I visited China - it was in 1989!
One week ago I came back from a Trip to Vietnam. It was interesting - but we had not much luck with the weather. There was a taifun exactly at the day, we planned to visit HaLong Bay. So no chance with wind coming with 183 km/h. When I checked all the shots I think I will show some here.
Many greetings to you from Germany
