Hello Ognita,
Square formats are said to be difficult to handle, but you really did a great job here. The - centered - tree is an eye-catcher providing for a balanced composition. I also like how not only the landscape, but also the play of light and shadow reinforce that composition. Nice diagonals...
The black & white conversion, with subtle contrasts, enhances the overall meditative mood.
