[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Series of photos I took in Beijing.

I was in Subway, and this girl walk in, she has very unusual look and attitude that attract me as a photographer to take a picture of her.

She was sitting right in front of me, about 1m away.

I decided to take my camera out and take few frames, and was hoping that she looks up, but she never did...

Zoom effect and frame was aded in Photoshop.

Hope you like it

Hi Hartanto!
I like the blure effect very much. It goes very well with the state she is in, disconnected from her suroundings and focused on what she is reading. Well done!
Skye

I really like this shot and your PP work. I think it's a good thing that she did not look up. Makes for a more natural composition. Great job!

Hartanto,

I don't like the zoom effect. It looks cheesy to me. Sorry. What was your reason for adding it? I do however like the subject matter very much and think it would stand on it's own without the funky stuff.

Very cool photoshop work here. I checked out your gallery, some nice work you've done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, great shot, I like its colours and the effect arround her. It makes her seems away from this world, as she really is.;-)
Well done!

nice shot, it makes us see how you can be anonymous on the big town...

Great shot and effect !
I like it.
Nice idea. Subways are a good source of inspiration. I suppose she didn't notice everything ...

This is a wonderful picture. The effect is just great. The zooming work gives the effect of an subway.

Very nice picture and she is so concentrated on her reading; totally in a world of her own. Your effect of blur on both side of her is effective as it reinforces the impression of being alone even in a public space. Well done!!!

This is very nice work with the girl, her reflection and a man.
Beautiful ide and realization !

This would not have worked without the motion. Nice and creative Hartanto. B

Good study of concentration (or maybe she was trying to avoid looking up when she noticed the camera). I lke the way you have eliminated the other passengers to focus on the girl.

You have done a great job blurring the other people out. It's an effect that has to match the situation to really work. This is about how much she would see of them...

Her shoes tell so much about her personality...

Great shot, I like it a lot. Very well don!
