[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken inside the Star Seafood Floating Restaurant in Shatin, on the same night that I took my lobster photo which I posted on TrekEarth.

This was the first of four characters, which were lit by overhead lights. I tried to crop the top, to remove the glare on the wood, but this ruined the framing.

I posted a similar type of shot a few months ago on TrekEarth, but in that photo the shop sign was lit by sunlight.

Tech: Just cropped slightly and framed.

What drew my attention to this picture Orme was the light. I also like the simple grapphic effect achived. I would however preffer if the right upper corner followed teh same pattern as thre rest of the background (woudl be difficult to clone though. Also, the left could be cropped a bit more, by the edge of teh wall.

I thought this was by you from the thumbnail, and like this writing and the changing colour across it. I would have perhaps cropped closer... great shot.

The running man! I like the BW shot you posted in TE better. This one is also okay but the light on top destroyed it. Still a good one though. BTW, what does this mean?

wow, beautiful calligraphy and excellent light. Very nice tones of yellow and brown. I like your frame, too. Well done, Andrew.

A fine piece of calligraphy - looks like you'll have to open a theme here on TL as well ;-) Beautifully shaped character, and it contrasts well against the brown background. Yes, the bright top is a bit of a distraction but I still enjoy the overall artful apperance. Good shot, Andrew.

I did a workshop for you trying an alternate representation. I hope you will like it.

great phoo, andrew. I like the contrast and colors.

Well done

Hi Andrew, I like the object (what does it mean btw ?) but somehow I find the added background on top and left side distracting. Maybe a good crop would help. Yours, Jan

Sometimes there is such characters in publicity but here it is just for design...
Now, my brother's girlfriend from Taiwan is in Belgium and can read chineese. The first thing she done when she saw our publicity is turn the sheet of paper in the right position... Also, she said that often doesn't mean something....
Nice sunlight effect on this one, Andrew!

great colors.. this chinese word means "SUPER"... very nice capture!
