[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The ever vigilant life guards of Puri have their eyes on the sea for any swimmer in trouble. They are identified by their white cone hats (which usually say "LIFE GUARD" in huge black letters on it). I asked one if he would really save me (not one moved in Varkala when I was drowning). He assured me he would! The government has requested the local village fishermen to help save people in trouble.

Gloria you're obviously able to travel extensively. These kinds of scenes are so interesting to experience. I've travelled fairly extensively, as you have, in the recent past but can't continue at the moment. I'm living vicariously through you. Make sure you take the time to notice and feel the energy of the place and the people wherever you might find yourself. It's always different than home.

This is exposed really well Gloria. I like the colors and that is a very unusual hat for a lifeguard. Well done. B
