| Last November I had gone to Konark and took a lot of pics of this famous SUN temple at Konark which is also called Black Pagoda. There are many temples in Orissa, but I chosed this one for my repository since you are easily allowed to take photographs, others either you have 2 seek permissions or you are straightly denied. But decided to post this photo since I was watching this man which was not at all amused to go thru this steps and somehow managed this after some 3-4 minutes, so chosed to capture this moment. He was elated after reaching at the top since over that side many beautiful carvings are made from the stones. |

I like the symmetrical guardian statues in the fg. A little soft overall, but well composed, with attractive warm colours, & a good upward pov of the stairs. Tfs!

I love the architecture of this temple you captured. The detail and colour of the stone is really remarkable. I did not realize you need permission at some temples.
