[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
hi, another shot from my mondarmoni trip. this was lying with the photos that i initially had screened out. after a bit of pp, i thought this was something to share. the overcast sky in contrast with the dark sea painted a beautiful landscape.

pp >> cropping. changed the colour format to 'lab colours', desaturated, created a high pass filter layer and then played with curves to convert the image to b/w. used dodge/burn tool some of the areas. added a little vignette at the top corners.

I like the mood here, good PP work to get the desired effect. Nice shapes from the water on the sand, with good mid-tones ranges throughout.

Nice seashore capture in black and white mode
Good contrast and dynamic sky with amazing details on sands
Not agree with old photography effects with this pp work here, but the overall is good

Hi Mayur

Yes, here we see why I usually despeckle the sky, & add gaussian blur of anything from 2 to 40 pixels. Good tonal range, & the meandering, diagonal shoreline provides excellent lead in lines. The silhouetted people add scale & context. Tfs!

a simple photo, but the B&W processing is a masterpiece
