This picture of the dragonfly i took in my garden.
A dragonfly is an insect belonging to the order Odonata.It is characterized by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings, and an elongated body.Dragonflies typically eat mosquitoes, midges and other small insects like flies, bees, and butterflies. They are usually found around lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands because their larvae, known as "nymphs", are aquatic. Dragonflies do not normally bite or sting humans.

first of all let e say a warm welcome on TL, than I must say that this photo is outstanding. The details ar amazing. Great blured background. Just an idea: don't center too much the subject, it be more interesting to see it on the left or right side of the photo. Otherwise, all my congrats for this beauty.
