| Sikhs are wonderful people, they feed the poor, they feed the pilgrims, and more than a few times, they have fed me. Their religious members help others daily all over India. They stand in the middle of the street in Allahabad, long beards, sometimes long knives in their waist band, often a bit wild loooking, demanding everyone going by eats their food. Who am I to say no? They do not want to let you pass without a meal and tea. They ask for nothing in return. The food is delicous always. Here are some Sikh's that fed me and my freinds. We walking to the 12th, 12th,(148 years), Hindu, Kumba Mela, festival on the edge of town. The Sikhs respect other religions, and often help Hindus at their religious festivals. They wear a steel bracelet, a dagger, do not cut their head hair or beards. They must cover their heads in respect. (This scanned from a photo). |

Hi gloria
Good daily life shot & group b&w portrait. Excellent tonal range & contrast with good shadow details. The newspaper stands out. Tfs!

It's the scan who did that? Cause in my first impression i had the impression it was taked through a window... For the feeling of a very pale impression of a word...
Curriously the result remain give me an impression of journalist shot... That we keep without giving too much attention on us... Only for the tone... Cause we see well they posing for you. A style who remain archive or history later :)
I enjoy really much your mote... It's some near like some Buddhism movement or relative i believe who will share food. It's good that poors have some free resources. Even not only pours but anybody... Cause there is some moment in life...
