Hi TrekLens:
This evening I took time to look at this beautiful Rose; the light was not enough, but I thought it looked so beautiful.
Info on Roses here:
There are several varieties of the Indian Roses which includes white rose, pink rose, maroon rose, red rose, yellow rose and orange rose. It has thorn on its stems. The cane has leaves and budeyes. A leaf consists of stipule, petiole, and leaflets. Grafting of Roses here is very common. In India, Rose is usually a winter flower.

I captured this with 400 ISO due to less ambient light factor. Since it was handheld, I kept my shutter Speed at f/8. The lens that I use is a Macro 50mm. The PP work is done in several layer to draw attention to the petals with droplets.
Thanks
David

Hi David,

To be frank: I'm not a flower kind of guy so more often than not i skip flowers altogether. This one is an exception. Well executed job, razor sharp and fantastic framing. Hallmark quality if i may say so.

Regards,

Edwin

I cant wait for the spring and summer to arrive so I can get outside and shoot some more floral images. I am resolved at the moment to using saved images or shooting new ones of raindrops :-)

Hi David,

A totally lovely rose, but this one is perfection because of the presentation. Well let's say it this way, I like this one more then your latest update. Lucky me I can choose in your album.
