Hi TrekLens:
I thought of something different, so here it is. This is the "Back to the Future" model car. I wanted to capture all the fine details here. I bounced the flash to the ceiling and used my 50mm lens to manually focus.
Actually I am checking the lens here too. Then I made this for Reena, and she was so happy to see her beautiful self
in front of this very fancy car!
This is a  model of the Back to the Future Delorean. The DeLorean was created by a man named John DeLorean. The first production model was completed in 1981, and by 1983 the DeLorean Motor Company was closed. Only 8,583 models were ever manufactured.  John DeLorean passed away at the age of 80.
The De Lorean DMC-12 is a sports car that was manufactured by the De Lorean Motor Company for the American market from 1981 to 1983 in Northern Ireland. It is most commonly known simply as the De Lorean, as it was the only model ever produced by the company. The DMC-12 featured gull-wing doors with a fiberglass "underbody", to which non-structural brushed stainless steel panels are affixed. A De Lorean was featured as a home-made time machine in the Back to the Future trilogy.
The first prototype appeared in March 1976, and production officially began in 1981 (with the first DMC-12 rolling off the
production line on January 21) at the DMC factory in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland. During its production, several aspects of the car were changed, such as the hood (bonnet) style, wheels and interior. About nine thousand DMC-12s were made before production stopped in late 1982. Today, about 6,500 De Lorean Motor Cars are believed to still exist. [Wikipedia]

Little Reena wanted to model with this car.
Have fun.
David

Namaste my friend
David .. what an unusual but fine photo.
Had to laugh about this cute girl in front of the car.
John DeLorean would agree for sure to use her in an advertisement operation
Greetings and compliment
John

Hi David,
Excellent PP work, until I read your note I thought it was at a car show, it looks just like Reena is stepping from the car.
Great work well done
Regards Andy

Wowow, David.
Excellent looking picture with stunning ingredients.
Lovely looking sportscar. Try to convinced Mr. TATA to take this mean machine in production.
I think, NOW it the time, people will lave it.!
At least little Reena will, lol
Best regards from jan

Haha ... very nice work! The only thing you forgot to do is create a reflection of Reena and include that on the shiny surface below ...!
But - a good sharp macro, good PP work, a lovely job.

Hi David. This is a superb photo of the yound lady by what could be a car of the year! The pose is ideal and appropriate. The slight reflection off the floor adds another dimension too. The lens did a good job for you. I have a 50mm but seldom use it, but this is inspiring. TFS. Murray.

hi david, looks like a little model car neat capture,
well done,

That's a very "clean" model, David... and I mean the car ;o). I used to make military models and painting those required a "weathering" technique.
I like the set-up you used, but I'm afraid it's quite obvious you mounted Reena in later on: she has neither shadow nor reflection. And that's a pity... if you still have the file with layers, you can "easily" create a faint reflection by flipping and mirroring her layer, and using some tweaks on brightness and opacity, I think.
She does have the appropriate "attitude" for this kind of car LOL.

I love it. More than Beautiful.

Hi David - this is certainly a departure from your shots in the last while and I really like it, ok its the car.
At first I thought it was two photo's merged, so I was wrong.
Great use of the bounce flash, lighting on the whole photo is well done, POV for this well thought out and use of the foreground floor adds to the overall impression.
