I read your intro and took a look into your themes. You really do a good work and are able to delivery photographs that carry your story authentically. Your posts really show us your part of the world. So thanks for sharing and lets hope that the political leaders will find a solution without violence.
I am a amateur - fun shooter and poster only and do not have any political ambitions at all but in my mind I am with the suppressed and threatended people in this world.

I very much like your treatment of the light and levels in this shot. It is understated and dark - which works beautifully to bring out the eyes and colours on his face, minimising any distractions.

I'm not sure that placing the focus of this shot in the very centre of the frame was the best idea - although composition doesn't always have to follow "rules" and the shot is still very powerful.
