Hi Mk,
The concept of the composition is well thought. However, the light is in front of you and the effect is that you overexposed most of the image.

Light conditions are very important to take into account. First hours of the morning or last hours of the afternoon are the best to take pictures.

In this case, when the light is not on our side, we must consider the white balance setting and change aperture and speed to compensate the light.
