In the southern part of India we find women wearing beautiful silver anklets, and toe rings. However, the toe rings indicate the marital status.
Instead of wearing ring on the finger, the married South Indian women wear their rings on the toes!
one simply don't get fed up of watching their anklets...This lady did not pose for me, in fact it's her natural graceful posture that enables me to capture this interesting picture. It is almost like she is proud of her toe rings and the anklets!
