This is a view of the swimming pool at ICRISAT. ICRISAT is a non-profit and non-political research organization that serves the poorest of the poor in the semi-arid areas of the developing world.

It is on the Pune-Bangalore highway (NH9) from Hyderabad and just 50 kms from the city. You can visit this place with friends and family and stay at their accommodation which is good and quite reasonably priced. A nice place to relax and spend a weekend. Besides the pool they have basketball courts, good food and bakery items, cycles using which you can cycle around the sprawling campus. There are 2 lakes inside and lots of agricultural activites too.

Hi Sreya

Unfortunately this is not a good photo. It is a very average view of an everyday scene.

Two ways to make photography work:

1. show us something interesting

2. show us something boring in an interesting way

This should could have been interesting if you took it ... from the top of the diving board? Behind the diving board? Close to the water's surface? Under the water?

Remember that pointing the camera and hoping to get everything in the shot is not a good way of taking photos! You need to choose a focus for the story you are telling, and find a way to present it well.

Good luck!
