Puppet Show
This picture is from a Rajasthan puppet show which I happened to watch recently. The man behind the screen manipulates these puppets using a series of strings attached to different parts of the puppet's body. Generally they enact a short story or poem using these puppets. Its fun to watch.
The main idea here is to show the motion/action performed by the puppet instead of just freezing the frame and make it life-less. I reduced the shutter speed to capture the motion of the puppet. Here the snake charmer puppet and the snake are in motion where as the rest of the puppet are still. Though it may not be solving the idea completely, hope I was successful a bit in portraying that the puppet is moving and dancing :)
Looking forward for your feedback and any better suggestion to capture such scenes. |
