[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
What is pink? A rose is pink
By the fountain's brink.
What is red? A poppy's red
In its barley bed.
What is blue? The sky is blue
Where the clouds float through.
What is white? A swan is white
Sailing in the light.
What is yellow? Pears are yellow,
Rich and ripe and mellow.
What is green? The grass is green,
With small flowers between.
What is violet? Clouds are violet
In the summer twilight.
What is orange? Why, an orange,
Just an orange!

Just like any other girl, this bubbly girl is in love with pink color.I tried convincing Diya after a lot of effort to pose for me.She tried her best to still as long as possible..but poor she, her (1 minute) efforts were a waste when I saw that this shot was not that sharp. I'm still posting this picture as I liked the kind of attitude she is reflecting here.
Hope you too like it!

HAve a great week folks!
Cheers,
Shubhi:)

Hello Shubhi,
I also like the image as it shows exhuberance and energy that she draws from having the camera pointed in her direction. The softness of the image works very nicely with the focus primarily on her face...

True - it's not sharp. Do you note the shutter speed when you are taking the photo? Or does your camera warn you of a slow shutter?

That aside, I like the light, the composition, and the simple, honest connection between Diya and you.

hi Shubi

I can see you are working hard on the portrait indoor and testing out the effect of light+shadow on the girl model here.

Honestly, I would avoid the blur because her lower body is not at the same distance and it creates an awkward view. But on the other hand, you can call it artistic portrait although I am not a fan of such.

The good thing about this is that the head is sharp and the eye contact is strong, IMO.

tfs, bill

Hi Dear Shubhi
