A cigarette that bears a lipstick's traces
An airline ticket to romantic places
And still my heart has wings
These foolish things remind me of you

A tinkling piano in the next apartment
Those stumblin' words that told you what my heart meant
A fairground's painted swings
These foolish things remind me of you

You came, you saw, you conquered me
When you did that to me
I knew somehow this had to be

The winds of March that make my heart a dancer
A telephone that rings but who's to answer?
Oh, how the ghost of you clings
These foolish things remind me of you

The scent of smouldering leaves the wail of steamers
Two lovers on the street who walk like dreamers
Oh how the ghost of you clings
These foolish things
Remind me of you

How strange, how sweet, to find you still
These things are dear to me
They seem to bring you so near to me

The sigh of midnight trains in empty stations
Silk stockings thrown aside dance invitations
Oh how the ghost of you clings
These foolish things
Remind me of you!

This is one of her favourite songs by Rod Stewart. Well friends Anjali again in one of her lighter mood. I did a couple of shots with her in which only a few turned out to be worth posting.

Hope you all have a week full of smiles!
Cheers,
Shubhi:)

Dear Shubhi.

You always have very touching notes with your postings. Nice to read. Works well together with this shot. Nicely blurred bg and the focus on Anjali. Your Gallery is very interesting, not the usual shots. Keep on posting Shubhi...

Take care,
willie

hi Shubi

Die hard romantics.

Playing with light, mood and portrait. It looks like the guassian blur has hidden any motion blur in this capture because 1/4s would surely cause some motion blur. You did have the face in focus here. Too much of her body in black and blur where detail is lost. And maybe IMO too much yellow space in front.

Honestly I think you have posted a few blur effect and perhaps you can try other modes of portrait rather than the same. Just a thought.

For encouragement of your bold experiments.

swimply great shot.congratulations

A beautiful subject and a striking angle for your photograph, along with strong composition. (Not so good, the cropped hand at the top of the frame, but everything else works.)

Interesting use of post-processing, maybe it could have been better managed but the overall feeling of this shot is very good, the light and colours are lovely.

Another soft focus dear Shubhi with warm colors
I like her happy pose and its off-center composition which drags our look to the right.
The lighting control is superb.
Best wishes

dear Shubhi,
you captured the air of her at that time,
in her graceful smiling, we can imagine lots of "Foolish Things" quite like her and you.
so this is wonderful picture on imginative our space.
I'm sure splendid things will come her,
