an awesome site.. 50+ fishermen pulling the net on poovar beach in south kovalam.

this people leave at night in the ruff sea and then early morning gather to pull the nets.. they sing and do this.. a heaven for photographers..

Nice catch, Shubhankar. Reminds me of 'Survivor,' an American tv show. :)

i think you should take this picture from a little left and show the rope more! an awesome picture but not a well composition to express the event!

I like very much your shots of kerali fishermen!
In this one, I appreciate your composition because it shows also the other team on the left. You could have chosen a lower point of view, maybe, to increase the movement? Anyway, you have captured well this decisive moment and the colors are good.
I particularly like the waves in the background, which seem to jump in a twin shape with the clouds ... as if the sea had the will to copy the sky.
