| The art of making garlands or known as Lae in Hawaii is as old as the indian culture, this has no books or classes to learn from but passed on from generations to the next. My mom is one of the many who can skillfully weave the thread and the flowers together. One such evening after she picked the flowers from the front yard she sat down to make this garland and I was playing with my 20D... the result is this.. |
