Hi Raaj

Welcome to TL community. Your 1st post here is a big step to digital photography and sharing with others.

I find your 1st post quite inspiring. A nice view of bird with good exposure and focus sharpness. The bird is perched nicely with its head turned and I would like to see how this bird looks like if I change something below.

I quite like this photograph, but would like to point out a few tips to improve it:

a) As Bill rightly pointed out, the photo could do with some cropping.
b) The photo seems a bit underexposed - once again Bill righted the problem by adjusting the levels.
c) That twig/branch passing in front of the bird is quite annoying. I know that it is quite difficult to catch the bird whilst it is sitting still (and you did seem to be quite close - the zoom is on 78mm), but you must change your POV so that such objects don't spoil the shot.

All in all, nice first post. Welcome to Treklens.
