| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Been some time since I posted a photo. This was taken on my trip to a nearby national park - Pench Tiger reserve where I had gone for Tiger Census as part of an NGO..
This structure in the picture is called a Machhan or a tree house which was built in the middle of the jungle near waterhole so that we could keep a note of all the animals that come there during the night. (yes we had to stay awake all thru the nite :D )
This snap was taken at dusk after the sun had just set. We were about to get into the "machhan"

Hi Karthik,
I can understand that camouflaging is important when you are watching tiger from a tree house. I guess that you have taken this shot from another tree isn’t it? I like your note.
