Great,bravo

Howdy Vaibhav!
Very original POV. Good composition. Original portrait. Good capture.
TFS!

Hi Vaibhav,
very nice crop. I think it could use with a bit of sarpening while you were at it in photoshop, but still it is very eye-catching. it certainly caught my eye.

szablak

Hey there Vaibhav,

This is a really nice portrait with a great eye for composition. There is a god use of shadows, and presents a very intriguing feel.

However, I think that the frame is a little thick, and seems to be masking the lower bit of the face, even if it was not meant to be that way. I think a thinner one would work better.

Cheers,
Joel

Hello Vaibhav,

Interesting, foreboding photograph. Dark and kind of frightening. I like it.

Hi Vaibhav!
Original POV, very original composition. Mysterious effect. Great effect.
Cheers!

Hi Viabhav,

I love the portrait.

Maybe there are a few things that will help you improve on it - if you are standing sothat some natural outside light reflects in his eyes, then the picture has more life.
Also a close crop is okay, but just under your dad's nose seems like he can hardly breath right - so give the man some space next time!
Just try again if he does not mind - he seems like a great model.

I made a WS to show that a bit lighter works better in my opinion.

What terrible portrait... :-)

A lot of strength in this picture. I like your choice for light and contrast. I regret perhaps just not able to distinguish the eyes (the look).

A nice shot
Best regards

I may add some technical comments on this picture, as other people did.

But I think it a marvelous maturity and love you show in this picture, and that's a gift.
