Nice close up of your cat, but try to avoid strong light as it easy makes over exposure on the white hairs.

Nice shot of cat close up, but perhaps the sharpness can be improved but good spot focus. Try not to zoom to 300mm for this lens as it may not give sharpness. The nose and whiskers seem OE just a bit.

He sure is cute and I love cats!

I see you used 1/60 shuttertime, and it could be that you moved or the cat, but I miss a bit of sharpness in the picture, maybe you should give it another try and ly down just in front of him sothat the eys are lined up and equally sharp, just give it a try, digital pictures don't cost and you can always delete them (very hard for me to do - I just pass on advice ^-^).
To avoid overexposure on the white you can maybe make a lightcorrection down by one step.

Hi Vaibhav,

You shot handheld at 300 mm with 1/60s. This speed is to slow to prevent camera shake and hence the blurred image. As a rule of thumb, you should make sure that you shoot at least at 1/("focal length" x 1.5)

So at 300 mm you need about 1/450s to prevent blur from camera shake.
